Our model provided a lot of inspiration for these studies. I love how everyone uses different approaches to capture the figure- pen and ink, watercolors, charcoal, and several ipads. We are so happy to be back, with many thanks to Arts Westchester for helping us kickstart after the pandemic. We will meet again next Thursday, and have our second sunday session in Garnerville May 8 10:30-1pm.

Great turnout and creative flow in these sessions! Our next model will be female. We will post signs to help direct artists, or call Sandy or Dan if you get lost trying to find our new location. Thrilled we are back in Nyack Thursday nights! We are grateful to John Gilbert for kickstarting us in Garnerville every second Sunday, which will be coming up Sunday May 5 (mother's day) and finally, June 12. A big shout-out to Christie Washburn for writing a grant that we then received from ACOR/Arts Westchester to begin figure drawing in Rockland again. Also tremendous gratitude to Sandy Bandes and Dan Springer for running these Nyack Sessions, and to Rockland Boces for giving us the space to do so. Linda Eckstein will continue to run sessions in Garnerville every Sunday. See you next Thursday!
